About

The Hilltown Seed Saving Network is a group of people in the Hilltowns of Western Massachusetts interested in saving seeds. We are working to educate ourselves and our neighbors about seed saving. We are working towards creating a local seed bank – both a virtual seed bank sharing information about what seeds we have in our own collections and a physical seed bank.

We meet at 6pm on the fourth Thursday of every month in the Sustainability Library upstairs from the Old Creamery Grocery in Cummington MA. In addition, we are scheduling a series of workshops over the course of the season.

    Hey there —
I came to your great seed swap in Cummington a week ago. Thanks for putting that on! I’m planning a Northampton area seed swap this winter and am wondering if anyone in your group would like to help me organize it.
You can send them my way. nohotownfarm@gmail.com.
    Thanks.
